Update 2023-07-13 Nike US has confirmed a restock of the NBA x Nike Dunk Low “Chicago Bulls” for July 27, 2023, at 11:00 am ET.

Original Post 2021-09-25 Celebrating its 75th birthday this year, the National Basketball Association (NBA) has delighted fans the world over for over seven decades. It’s also been the birthplace of countless footwear icons from the Chuck Taylor to the Air Jordan 1. Amongst the A-list of hardwood-turned-streetwear sneakers is the humble Nike Dunk, and it, along with the NBA, will be celebrating the Association’s diamond anniversary with a handful of special team-themed releases, including this NBA x Nike Dunk Low “Chicago Bulls” colorway.

(Unofficially) honing in on the heavily-supported franchise that is the Chicago Bulls, the celebratory kicks come clad in the franchise’s signature red, white, and black. The latter serves the Swoosh, quarter, heel overlays, liners, and laces while rich reds hover over the forefoot. Off-white uppers work with bright white midsoles, and red rubber outsoles underfoot, and the pair is completed by special anniversary tongue tags and diamond-etched dubraes that serve as a nod to the celebratory event.

A release date for the NBA x Nike Dunk Low “Chicago Bulls” has been earmarked for October 8, 2021, and with official images of the pair surfacing today, that only strengthens that thought. We’re still waiting on Nike and retailers to confirm this officially, but we should get word soon. Until then, grab an official look at the release here below, and as always, keep your eyes glued to our official Twitter account for updates.
