Nike’s “Game Day” theme is moving beyond the Air Force 1, with the Nike Dunk Low “Game Day” next in line for the growing Nike Sportswear series.
While the matching Air Force 1 leaned into classic sports styling with green leather, suede overlays, and basketball-charm detailing, the Nike Dunk Low “Game Day” brings a softer, more collegiate finish to Peter Moore’s 1985 design. The pair works from a Coconut Milk leather base, giving the shoe a warm, vintage foundation, while shaggy purple suede overlays add texture across the toe, eyestays, heel, and rear panel.
The sportswear influence is strongest through the accessories and finishing details. Striped purple-and-gold laces give the pair a varsity feel, with matching gold Nike branding appearing on the tongue, heel, and insoles. Gold-tone lace charms also hang from the forefoot, including a mini Nike logo and a basketball graphic, directly tying the Dunk Low back to the larger “Game Day” concept.

Underfoot, the pair keeps things grounded with a lightly aged midsole and gum rubber outsole, adding to the retro athletic feel without overcomplicating the design. A soft grey suede Swoosh and matching heel tab complete the upper, balancing out the louder purple panels and gold accents.
A release for the Nike Dunk Low “Game Day” is expected soon on Nike.com and at select Nike Sportswear retailers and Nike.com. Keep an eye on the House of Heat° Nike Release Dates Calendar for updates.
