Nike Dunk Low “Spurs” Continues NBA 75th Anniversary Celebration

Set to celebrate their 75th season in a big way, the National Basketball Association (NBA) has enlisted the help of league apparel sponsor Nike for an epic set of celebratory Nike Dunks for the occasion. Throughout the series, we’ve seen Dunks and Air Force 1s nod a handful of franchises, from the Nets, Knicks, and Bulls, to the recently-revealed Lakers Air Force 1. Now the NBA looks to one of its most successful teams in recent times — the San Antonio Spurs — for its next kids-exclusive release.

Though no official affiliation has been made with the franchise, its black, silver, and white arrangement leave no room for ambiguity. Here, the pair relies upon an upper constructed entirely in black leather, with a smooth finish applied to the base layer, and overlays opting for a heavily tumbled finish. Metallic Silver Swooshes are balanced out by diamond anniversary dubraes and matched branding at the tongue and heel. The pair is then completed by a simple white and black sole unit underfoot.
