Ishod Wair’s signature sneaker has its first collaboration — and it comes as part of the NBA’s 75th-anniversary celebration.

Though the importance of the connection is not yet known, first looks at the NBA x Nike SB Ishod show something fairly generic at first glance. With the league’s trio of hues serving as the pair’s accentuating features, with classic black suede uppers and white/gum sole units providing the anchor. There is, however, a few hints as to what it may be influenced by. Noted at the heel are 1997/98, alongside two oversized star motifs on the medial side, perhaps a nod to the infamous 76ers Jerseys from the season — a claim than Ishod himself has just now confirmed.

Wwe do have word that pairs are currently expected to arrive at skate shops next month — but given the recent run of delays these stores have faced, don’t be surprised if we see these pushed back until the middle of the year.
