The NIGO x Nike partnership continues to reimagine the historically-overlooked Air Force 3 Low through thematic ensembles.

Following takes rooted in American workwear and Japanese craftsmanship, the low-top silhouette has taken on two color schemes seemingly inspired by college programs with which the Swoosh has had close connection over the years. "Midnight Navy" and "Forest Green"-accented pairs have arisen via retailer photography, giving way to the theory that NIGO's next batch of Nike products are inspired by Georgetown University and the University of Oregon, respectively. Two long-standing institutions sponsored by the sportswear behemoth, each school has had their fair share of official and unofficial homages throughout the years. NIGO's makeovers arrive with the type of extras that you could find in college dorm rooms at either school in the the 1980s—the era in which the AF-3 debuted—giving more credence to the college connection.

Stateside Nike SNKRS release details for NIGO's next Air Force 3 Low batch haven't been disclosed as of yet, but pairs have begun popping up overseas at retailers Foot District and BSTN.
