Nike ACG is bringing back the Air Max Foamdome “Eggplant” this holiday season, exactly a decade after the colorway’s November 2016 release.
The rugged hybrid combines the molded look associated with Nike’s Foamposite family with a boot-like upper and visible Air cushioning underfoot. For its 2026 return, the familiar Eggplant purple shell is paired with black across the leather eyestay, collar, laces, and sole unit, keeping the color blocking close to the dark, outdoor-ready look associated with the model.

The Foamdome has always occupied an unusual space in Nike’s catalog. Built under the All Conditions Gear banner, the model takes Foamposite-inspired construction and applies it to a heavier, cold-weather silhouette, complete with a high cut and substantial Air Max tooling.
That combination made the Foamdome one of the more unconventional ACG releases of its era, and the “Eggplant” finish naturally connects it to one of the most recognizable colors in Nike’s broader Foamposite history.
Now, 10 years after its 2016 appearance, the colorway is getting another run. The Nike ACG Air Max Foamdome “Eggplant” is scheduled to release on November 5, 2026 for $265.
