Nike Dips the ACG Air Phassad in Full Black for Its Comeback
The revival of Nike’s ACG Air Phassad continues to take shape for Fall 2025, and a no-nonsense “Triple Black” colorway that fully embraces the silhouette’s rugged trail roots is joining the lineup.
Initially released in 2002, the Air Phassad is back for the first time in over two decades. While the “Metallic Silver” OG is confirmed to return, this blacked-out edition adds a stealthy edge to the reissue slate. True to its nickname, every component of the shoe—from its mesh and synthetic upper to the Velcro-assisted shroud, mudguards, sole unit, and ACG branding—arrives dipped in black.
Scott Portzline initially designed the utilitarian silhouette as part of Nike’s All Conditions Gear line. Its aggressive sole, layered upper, and protective shroud design signal clear intent: built for performance, but now re-emerging as a functional lifestyle option with trail-inspired styling. In many ways, it channels the same energy as models like the Air Max Sunder, offering durability with standout visuals.
The Nike ACG Air Phassad “Triple Black” will be available this fall at Nike.com and select retailers for approximately $120.
