Nike, Inc. is consistently innovating for sport. Products like the Converse SHAI 001 and Air Jordan 39 exemplify the company's commitment to and breakthrough in this space. And while the Oregon-based institution isn't wavering on its dedication to improving the gear athletes depend on, it constantly finds time to revisit its expansive archive to breathe new life into old designs. Case in point?: The ACG Air Phassad from 2002.
According to Complex, the widely-forgotten silhouette from the Swoosh's All Conditions Gear line will return throughout Fall 2025. A source close to the matter didn't share specifics about price or colorways, but Scott Portzline's 23-year-old design is expected to release in its original "Metallic Silver/Yellow Zest/Black" style.
The Air Phassad by ACG features a Velcro-assisted shroud across the tongue, and mixes breathable mesh panels throughout the upper with a rugged sole unit informed by the trails. The silhouette bears some resemblance to the Air Max Sunder that debuted in 1999.
Pairs of the Nike ACG relic are set to hit Nike.com on July 2, for $145. And for more from the Swoosh empire, check out the Air Max Dn8, the brand's futuristic sequel from the Dynamic Air franchise.
