The Nike Air CB 34 "Triple White" was believed to return throughout Fall 2025, nearly nine years after its last retail release in November 2016. On Monday, March 24, however, Sole Retriever shared that the project had been scrapped for the current calendar year. A reissue could take place throughout 2026 to coincide with a decade since the pair last launched.
This iconic sneaker, nicknamed initially "Godzilla" when it first debuted in 1995, should return to the market in a retro reissue that stays true to its original design while incorporating modern updates.
The "Triple White" edition is expected to bring back the monochromatic look that made the sneaker a standout during its initial run. The high-quality leather construction has perforated pods across the upper, providing breathability and visual interest. The signature strap-and-laces closure system returns, alongside tonal branding on the tongue and heel, offering subtle yet distinctive details. The high-profile midsole, which includes an Air chamber in the heel, ensures comfort and support while maintaining the silhouette's timeless appeal.
The Nike Air CB 34 "Triple White" is no longer penciled for a return before 2025 ends, but specifics on its status in the retro cycle remain unknown until the Swoosh confirms official details. Expect other styles from Sir Charles' beloved Nike Basketball catalog to return throughout the next five years, too.
