Deion Sanders and NIKE, Inc. continue to move forward with their partnership, breathing new life into the familiar, but refreshing Air DT Max '96 Low.
Launched in May, the silhouette takes the high-top once worn by "Prime Time" and converts it into a much more wearable low-top. The result is a nostalgic design that unlocks new wearability, especially within the year's warmer months.
The model rightfully debuted in a "Black/Metallic Gold/White" color scheme, but it's promised in more colorways over the next year. One of the impending styles sees a "White/Light Smoke Grey/Metallic Silver" update take over the mid-'90s design. The bulk of the sneaker is left "colorless," with Swooshes and other branding elements deviating in hits of grey and silver.
Sanders' low-top sneaker is scheduled to launch overseas at retailers like atmos on Tuesday, June 30. A via Nike.com release could also take place on the same day, but that's yet to be determined.
