The Nike DT ’96 Vapor Edge Cleat Restocks June 28
Deion Sanders famously declared, "If you look good, then you feel good. If you feel good, then you play good. If you play good, they pay good." This ethos from Coach Prime, the NFL icon turned college football phenomenon, has permeated every aspect of his career. As the head coach for the Colorado Buffaloes, Sanders has not only transformed the team but has also brought his distinctive flair to Nike's footwear line, with several new Diamond Turf-inspired models capturing the public's attention.
One of the most eagerly awaited designs this season, the Nike Vapor Edge DT ’96 Cleat, is set to make its retail debut. Initially launched in its classic DT Max ’96 version, the cleated iteration was first seen on Arizona Cardinals quarterback and Nike athlete Kyler Murray as a Player Exclusive. Now, it’s available for aspiring athletes and fans alike.
The cleat stays true to the iconic white, black, and university gold color scheme of the original, with modifications to suit modern performance needs. The cushioning platform has been updated, but the aesthetic remains faithful to the original design. Notable features include Coach Prime logos on the tongue pull-tabs, insoles that bear Sanders' life and play philosophy, and a special Nike Football shoe box to complete the package.
Enjoy an official look at the pair below, and expect to see these rollout at select Swoosh retailers shortly; an official release date for June 14th has been set — and now a confirmed restock on Dick's Sporting Goods on June 28.
