The Nike Air Flight Huarache OG Returns in 2023

Co-designed by industry legends Tinker Hatfield and Eric Avar, 1992’s Nike Air Flight Huarache took Nike’s aggressive runner and repurposed it for the court. The result was a favorite of high-caliber players in Scottie Pippen, Reggie Miller, and later, Kobe Bryant — the latter’s Player Exclusive colorway set to release for the very first time this year. But that won’t be the only colorway on the cards for 2023, with the original White, Purple, Black, and Blue colorway confirmed for release in the Spring.

Though shades of blue and purple vary between OG retros, the heritage charm remains. This year, Nike has opted for “Varsity Purple” and “Royal Blue” for its accenting colors, with traditional white leathers and black nubucks unchanged.

A release date for the return of the Nike Air Flight Huarache OG has just been confirmed by Nike US for June 6th, with pairs set to touch down right here on Nike.com from 10:00 ET for $125.
