1992’s Nike Air Flight Lite II is enjoying a mini resurgence in the lead-up to its 30th-anniversary celebration, with OGs and Scottie Pippens all appearing to honor the occasion. Now it’s worked its way into an impending Nike Sportswear hoops pack that pairs vibrant hues with atypical textures across the brand’s most iconic basketball designs from yesteryear.
Joining the fur-line More Uptempo, and the heresy mesh Air Force 1s, this Nike Air Flight Lite II continues the vibrant services with a University Blue Durabuck upper, bright white leather Swooshes, and midsoles, and dark navy accents — the latter working with basketball-textured leathers at the mid panel. Big retro flavors are added at the liners, where a patchwork of colorful Nike logos work in tile fashion, with it’s hues mimicked on the tongue motif. The pair is then completed by the pack’s Nike Basketball logo design on both the heel and insole.
