Foamposites were just about to reach their pinnacle in the years proceeding 2007, and it was thanks to releases like the “Cough Drop”, “Cactus” and “Dark Army” doing the legwork in building up a solid following for the silhouette. Of course, all of these arrived at a time before wild colors and prints, and all arrived in ominous black-bases. But the most haunting of the class of 2007 was the Nike Air Foamposite One “Anthracite” aka “Blackout”, whose versatility skyrocketed the pair to Foamposite stardom. Now, thirteen years on, Nike will be revisiting the classic release with a Holiday 2020 reissue.

According to @Foamalicious, the pair is pegged for return later this year, and you can expect it in all of its murdered-out glory. A true “Triple Black” Foamposite One, not one shred of color is seen, with tonal branding, carbon fiber, and blacked-out outsoles accompanying the sinister shell upper.
