The once-revered “Shattered Backboard” colorway has been played out to the point of overkill in 2019, from a series of Air Jordan 1s including Lows, Mids and Highs, as well as a Jordan Mars 270— and that’s just this year alone. It’s been a staple best-seller for the Jumpman brand since it debuted in mid-2015 on the Air Jordan 1 High OG. Since then we’ve seen a 2.0, along with a satin version and more, all of which are still fetching a pretty penny on StockX. But something’s changed in 2019, with the marquee release bricking at market. Is the colorway played out? Or was it the daring twist on the pair’s makeup just a small bump in the SBB road?
