Debuting in the mid-90s, the Nike Footscape collection was a game-changer with its ergonomic design, inspired by the human foot's anatomy and the principles of natural movement. It enjoyed a behemoth adoration in the lifestyle market, more so in Asia, but still holds a significant part of the sneaker-lover's hearts around the globe.
Though there's a broad range of models, starting with the original Air Footscape in 1996 and culminating in the Air Footscape Magista in 2015, Nike will be bringing back arguably its most popular silhouette for a 2023 re-run, with the Air Footscape Woven set to hit shelves in a handful of new options throughout the back-half of the year.
Making a bold design even bolder, the first-up release sees an introduction of faux bovine fur, with a white and caramel print to match. It's met by woven streaks of cream, with laces and midsoles to match. Tongues proffer a neutral suede finish, all coming together on a solid black rubber outsole underfoot.
See for yourself via the detailed product imagery below, and expect to see the Nike Air Footscape Woven "Cow" touch down on Nike.com come September 26.
In related news, the Footscape Woven will also be honored as part of a three-way collaboration with Union and Bephie's on the Air Jordan 1 High OG.
