We’re about to turn the calendar over to December, and for fans of the Nike Air Force 1, that means one thing: Boots. Though we’ve seen several overhauls of the Uptown for Fall over the years, the brand has continued to deliver new variations year on year to keep the feeling (and your toes) fresh. Alongside some standard redesigns already revealed for the season, the Swoosh will debut this new Nike Air Force 1 Crater Boot, and today you get your very first look.
From the come-up, the pair is quite obviously focused on sustainability, with its gaudy, gritty Grind Rubber-infused sole units announcing themselves before anything else. What rests above is fairly reserved in terms of material and color, with a simple tonal black and grey leather construct working in tandem with some lightweight overlays. Its design lines are worth mentioning, with modifications to the eyestays and quarter panels adding a fresh twist on the silhouette, as too does the Grind Rubber-branded pulls, leather tongues, and recycled textile liner to complete the design.
