Nike’s Seasonal Air Force 1 Series Blooms Again With “Sunflowers”
Nike’s seasonal Air Force 1 Low series continues to grow, with the latest “Sunflowers” edition bringing a summer-ready finish to the classic Bruce Kilgore design.
Following earlier floral-themed releases like the “Leaf Camo” and “Cherry Blossoms” pairs, the Nike Air Force 1 Low “Sunflowers” shifts the concept into warmer weather. The design keeps the same removable shroud idea seen across the series, this time covering the upper in layered yellow sunflower graphics with petal-like cutouts that give the shoe a more dimensional look.
Underneath, the pair takes a more relaxed approach. Instead of suede, Nike dresses the base in khaki and beige canvas, giving the shoe a lighter, more breathable feel for summer. The neutral foundation also helps balance the louder floral overlay, while crisp white leather Swooshes add a clean break across the sides.
Brown detailing appears on the tongue label, heel tab, midsole, and gum rubber outsole, tying the whole design back to the sunflower theme without pushing it too far. The result is one of the more playful Air Force 1 Low releases of the season, but still wearable once the shroud is removed.
The Nike Air Force 1 Low “Sunflowers” has already started appearing at select retailers overseas, including atmos. A wider Nike.com release has not yet been confirmed, but pairs are expected to surface soon.
