"Atomic Violet" Pony Hair Appears on Nike's Air Force 1

It's no secret that the Air Force 1 is an important franchise for the NIKE, Inc. business, but the silhouette has become ever-important as its 45th anniversary inches closer.

There's no telling exactly how many different pairs of Bruce Kilgore's "presidential" design will launch between now and the start of 2028, but the Holiday 2026 season will seemingly include at least one more faux pony hair-covered ensemble for all bold sneaker-enthusiasts. "Atomic Violet" now appears in shaggy form across the Nike Air Force 1, offering another option in the same lineage of "Team Red" and "Campfire Orange" styles from earlier in the year.

Some contrast stitching appears across the upper's panels, while "White" takes over the midsole to allow the top-half to pop even more.

The newly-previewed AF-1 is expected to release via Nike.com and a select number of global retailers by Wednesday, Dec. 16, with a $140 price tag.
