Nike is doing the most with the Air Force 1 for its 40th anniversary, from collaborations with Drake and Louis Vuitton to toothbrush-wielding Anniversary releases. The silhouette’s mainline release schedule is delivering quality, too, like this upcoming Nike Air Force 1 Low “Cross Stitch” that takes the titular weave and plonks it front and center for the world to see.
The second colorway to appear in this styling ditches the all-pink previously seen, instead opting for a mix of clean whites, light apricots, and grey. The latter engulfs the entirety of the sole unit underfoot, with classic white leathers assuming the majority of the construction above. Cross-hatch textile mid-panels of creamy pink work with more saturated Swooshes, and heel overlays to add a splash of color; the latter is decorated with cross-stitch NIKE lettering to bolster the theme. Everything else remains relatively reserved, with tonal tongues, liners, and laces completing the design.
While an official release date for this all-new Nike Air Force 1 “Cross Stitch” has yet to be revealed, the surfacing of Nike.com imagery would suggest that a release is coming soon. Until more news arrives, take a look at the pair in detail here below, and be sure to keep your eyes glued to our official Twitter account for further updates.
