Flyknit is nothing new for the Air Force 1, with the hot-and-cold finish floating between popularity and the outlets for some time now. Crater Foam soles, though relatively new, have also become a staple inclusion in the AF1 repertoire, gracing releases too-many-to-count in recent months. But now the two combine for the first time, debuting in a handful of colorways this Spring Now, after appearing in a handful of black and white-based options, the Swoosh is dialing up the color tones —albeit ever-so-slightly.
Save the white and grey hues of the Creator Foam sole beneath, the pair arrives clad in tonal tan hues. Here, a one-piece upper that subtly uses differently weighted weaves to achieve a traditional paneling effect, with overlays at the eyestays, heel, and Swooshes surfacing in a soft, tonal recycled fabrication. Liners, tongue tags, and dubraes follow suit, whist laces opt for a pure white finish. Then the pair is capped off with the Swoosh’s sustainable-identifying neon green Pinwheel-branded insoles
A release date did not accompany the official imagery below, but with an expected debut this May, you should expect to hear some news on its release in the coming weeks. Until then, check out the image gallery of the pair here below, and be sure to give us a follow on Twitter for further updates.
