Nike Air Force 1 High Sculpt “Linen” Honors a Classic CO.JP Release
Nike’s CO.JP series is known for its illustrious list of regional exclusives, many of which hold significant weight in the wider sneaker community. Amongst those rarities is the Air Force 1 “Linen”, which is one of a few releases that made it stateside (during 2016′ Art Basel, that is.) 2022 will see a new take on that via the redesigned “Sculpt” silhouette — sans the CO.JP branding.
Despite being heavily reflective of the 2001 CO.JP release, this Air Force 1 Sculpt “Linen” isn’t entirely faithful in its homage. Though they follow the same scheme, the hues used are significantly more muted, with tans toned right down, and pinks are barely there at the Swoosh. Furthermore, the tongues and laces opt for an alternate tonal tan approach; though the sole unit remains true, too.
Though a release date did not accompany the official imagery below, you should expect to learn more about the Nike Air Force 1 High Sculpt “Linen” and its future run of colorways over the coming weeks. Until then, check out the official images of the OG-inspired colorway below, and be sure to give us a follow on Twitter for further updates.
