Dipping its toe into almost every collection this year is the 40th anniversary Air Force 1 and finally, it’s joined Nike’s colorful “101” collection with an on-theme release that’s heavy on texture — the second colorway to appear from the pack in as many days.
Clad in an off-white suede, the pair employs a rough shag throughout its upper panels, before coming to a head at the heel’s light lilac overlay. Swooshes arrive in orange stitched to stay consistent with the collection, as too do the forefoot tack threads, exposed foam tongues, and vibrant green “Nike 101”-branded insoles. The pairs is then completed by theme-specific tongue tags and heel embroidery, before a simple sail sole unit rests underfoot to complete the design.
A release date for this brand-new Air Force 1 Low “101“ has not yet been identified, but you should expect to see a release arrive during the sunny months. As always, keep your eyes glued to our official Twitter account for further updates. Until then, enjoy an official look at the pair here below.
