JD Sports Gets an Exclusive “Anthracite” Nike Air Force 1

Nike is giving Bruce Kilgore’s enduring Air Force 1 another understated update, dressing the low-top silhouette in an “Anthracite & Football Blue” colorway available exclusively through JD Sports US.

The pair begins with a nearly tonal Anthracite upper, extending the dark finish across the overlays, laces, lining, Swooshes, and sole unit. A glossy tonal Swoosh adds a subtle change in texture along the lateral and medial panels.

Football Blue provides the contrast, appearing across the tongue branding, lace dubraes, heel pull tabs, insoles, embroidered forefoot Swooshes, and “AIR” markings along the midsole. The small flashes of blue give the otherwise stealthy design just enough color without overpowering the clean base.

Underfoot, the familiar black Air Force 1 midsole and rubber outsole complete the look, keeping the focus on the bright branding details placed throughout the shoe.
