The Air Force 1 Low "Chocolate" is Next in Nike's "Color of the Month" Program
Embracing its rich heritage, Nike is reviving a classic with the upcoming "Color of the Month" Air Force 1 Low "Chocolate."
Echoing the nostalgia of the 2001 release, the new iteration retains much of the original charm while incorporating modern tweaks.
The 2023 "Chocolate" colorway exudes elegance with its high-grade chocolate leather construction. This earthy tone engulfs the sneaker's upper, laces, liners, and tongues, forming a cohesive aesthetic that is warm and inviting. The choice of a chocolate palette immediately evokes memories of its early millennium counterpart, an ode to the classic that fans of the Air Force 1 are sure to appreciate.
However, the new release does not merely reproduce the original but puts a fresh spin on the vintage colorway. Instead of the original's "Light Straw" accents, this reimagined version opts for clean, crisp whites. These are placed with precision at the Swoosh, midsole, and laces, creating a striking contrast that elevates the overall look.
Subtle alterations, like an unpainted AIR motif at the ankle and the chocolate-colored tongue tags, are also part of the design.
Staying true to its "Color of the Month" moniker, the retro branding on the heel harks back to the old-school lettering, a touch that will certainly appeal to the purists and nostalgia-seekers.
See for yourself below, and expect to see the Nike Air Force 1 Low "Chocolate" rollout on global Nike.com sites on November 16th.
