Available Now // Nike Air Force 1 Low “Designed Fresh”

Though the Air Force 1 is now 40 years old, it’s anything but stale. The ever-fresh pair of steps has been reimagined in almost every way possible, from canvas to satin, to collabs with high-end fashion houses. It’s also a mainstay in Nike Sporstwear’s annual themed collections, from “Multi-Swoosh” to this new series dubbed “Designed Fresh”

Featuring a denim-like woven upper of charcoal and white, the pair presents a familiar set of white overlays, tongues, and sole units; though here it’s delivered with a twist. Lightly tumbled finishes are applied to the leather, while mesh tongues enhance the workwear durability set forth on the upper layer. These, along with the sole units, laces, and liners, all proffer an off-white tint, further distancing themselves from many of its predecessors. Then, gingham is slapped onto the back heel and inner tongue, with gold dubraes over the toe and special graphic tongue tags and insole designs completing the release.
