The Air Force 1 is known for experimentation; but for its newest release, it looks like Nike has utilized the silhouette to try out a plethora of new finishes, with test patches of metallics, distressing, paint, piercing, split panels, and more!.
Beginning as a premium-built white leather release, Nike has segmented out distinct test areas, from cracked suede Swooshes, to acid wash quarter panels and toe, to split-blocked toes and mid panels. There are several instances of sharp gold studs pierced through the pair, with matching metallics at the aglets, midsole, and seemingly hand-painted line work throughout. What’s more, the pair is topped off with premium finishes like leather liners and insoles — the latter capped with gold foil finishes.
Though the official images of this new painted, distressed, and pieced Air Force 1 Low have landed, a release date has not been identified — but you should expect to see these release soon. While we await further details, grab a first and official look at the pair here below, and be sure to keep our eyes glued to our official Twitter accountfor further updates on its release
