If you've been into sneakers since at least 2005, you're sure to remember the "Easter" Air Force 1 Low by Nike. The patent leather-covered release is expected to return as part of the Swoosh's Spring 2027 plans.
Reported by Sneaker News, the anticipated drop arrives as Nike breathes new life into its "presidential" silhouette. NIGO and the Swoosh kicked off the silhouette's 2001 mold revival, but the Air Force 1's nostalgia run continues with a number of faithful reissues from the early aughts, as well as makeovers that are clearly inspired by the past.
The "Easter" release expected during the first-half of 2017 should arrive with the Stock Keeping Unit (SKU) 845053-500—the same one seen on the thematic AF-1 from Spring 2017. The patent leather-covered sneaker, then, will be a re-release of that style in time for its 10th anniversary. A "Titanium/Lime Ice/Storm Pink" color scheme appears throughout the upper, while the "colorless" midsole also sees seasonal accents that contribute to the "Easter" concept, first launched in '05.
Enjoy official photos of the 2017 Air Force 1 Low ahead. Pairs should release via Nike.com around March 28, 2027 for $125.
