Elegance and the Air Force 1 don’t often appear in the same sentence, with the clunky retro hoops shoe leaning favorably to the streetwear side of things. Saying that, it does, on occasion, find itself with dainty details and colorways full of charm — and this new Nike Air Force 1 Low “Gold Flower” is an exemplar of that.

Presented atop a simple sail sole unit, the proposition presents in the construction of finely-woven beige canvas, with embellishments plentiful. The titular gold flower is embroidered into the entirety of the upper, including all the panels, overlays, and even the tongue. Swoosh and heel overlays introduce a light blue hue, before returning to gold thread at the back branding. The pair is then completed by simple beige liners and insoles, and white enamel dubraes.
