The Nike Air Force 1 Low LX Appears in Gorge Green, Gold Suede and Obsidian

For 2023, Nike has looked inward for inspiration for it’s Air Force 1, most notably on a series of Command Force-informed efforts that honor the legendary 1991 design. While some have been more direct in their influence, others, like this new effort in “Gorge Green,” “Gold Suede,” and “Obsidian,” honor David Robinson’s Nike sneaker simply through branding.

A far cry from the formidable sneaker’s bulky white-based, neon-popped OGs, this Air Force 1 Low proffer a predominately tumbled leather construct through multi-colored leathers. Uppers of Obsidian work with toes of “Gorge Green,” Swooshes of “Gold Suede,” and quarter panels of “Game Royal” before “Burgundy Crush” suedes dress the eyestay overlays. There’s more navy around the tongue, liner, and heel, white a white and Obsidian sole unit sits underfoot. Special Command Force-inspired branding then completes the design at the tongue, heel, and insole.
