Patent Leather Camo and "Pink" Swooshes Share the Nike Air Force 1 Low

Bruce Kilgore's Nike Air Force 1 Low design continues to deliver some of the brand's more compelling styles.

Ahead of summer, the "presidential" silhouette has emerged in an ensemble that pairs green camouflage patent leather panels with pink-colored accents. The result is a refreshing look that harkens back to the 2000s, an era during which the Swoosh conglomerate experimented with different fashion-oriented makeovers.

Base layers ere on the side of tradition, indulging in a matte leather build that works with rosy swoosh logos, Achilles' heel overlays, and tongue labels to create an aesthetic reminiscent of the iconic" Linen" Air Force 1 from 2001. Underfoot, the tried-and-proven sole unit reverts to an unassuming color palette: midsoles favor a white tone that's slightly interrupted by black-colored Air text on the rear, all while the radial outsole opts for a semi-translucent presentation that flirts with the upper's beige elements.
