Where to Buy the Nike Air Force 1 Low “H-Town” (Houston)
Though the new generation — especially those into sneakers — know the Houston Rap scene birthed big names like Travis Scott and Megan Thee Stallion, the city is home to some of the greatest MCs of all time. From Fat Pat to Paul Wall, to Bun B and Slim Thug, the city has deep roots in the genre. Now Nike will look to honor the local music scene, with its latest effort on the Uptown, the Nike Air Force 1 Low “H-Town”
Ostensibly honoring the hometown Rockets, too, the pair arrives clad in bold black, striking whites, and red; but it’s the material makeup and fine details that champion the pair. Here, the pair is propositioned with retro appeal noted by the mixtape motif on the heel, but more by the velvet uppers, tongues, and liners that are reminiscent of tracksuits from the 1980s. Atop that is a simple, tonal leather overlay set, with striking silver Swooshes quite possibly mimicking the underside of a CD. Special H-Town dubraes rest at the forefoot, with white and red sole units resting underfoot to round out the design.
Pairs will arrive in both adult and kids sizing.
