Where to Buy the Nike Air Force 1 Low “Jackie Robinson”

Last year, Nike paid homage to Jackie Robinson’s legacy by releasing a special-edition Nike Dunk Low on the 75th Anniversary of his ground-breaking achievement of breaking the color barrier in Major League Baseball. This highly sought-after sneaker release was one of the year’s most popular releases, but it also served a greater purpose, as proceeds were donated to the Jackie Robinson Foundation. For 2023, Nike will follow up with another tribute to #42, unveiling the Air Force 1 Low “Jackie Robinson” through official product imagery.

The design draws inspiration from the Brooklyn Dodgers’ vintage uniforms, with Jackie’s #42 embroidered on the heel and the team logo on the tongue. The laces feature the words “Change The World,” and the metallic bronze lace dubrae commemorates both the year Jackie broke the color barrier (1947) and the year he retired (1956). The upper is a mix of tumbled and smooth white leather, with a full-length gum sole speckled with royal blue and red baseball stitching on the heels.

The official release date is penciled in for Jackie Robinson Day, April 15, 2023.
