The Uptown will honor the City of Angels this Summer, with this special-edition Nike Air Force 1 “Los Angeles” showing some love to the city which almost 4 million people call home.

The moccasin-styling of the silhouette serves as a direct nod to the native history of the region, with traditional stitching sighted at the pair’s overlays. A material mix of canvas, textured weaves, crochets, and quilted nylons all arrive in tonal beige and tans that ostensibly honor the native Tongvan dress, with decorative Sticky Moneky flowers peppered throughout the pair to honor the oft-orange hillsides and national forests that surround L.A. Pops of royal blue at the pair’s brand marks gives the pair some sportswear flair, with thick rope laces and metallic eyestays adding an outdoor element to the streetwear staple.
