Always down for experimentation, Nike’s Air Force 1 has seen just about everything in its 38-year existence. From big-name collaborations, to complete retoolings, the silhouette is not timid when it comes to tweaking — and this “Orange Trance” pair is as brazen as it gets.

Starting out with a hot pink canvas upper, the pair is overlayed at the quarter, toe and eyelets by a muted orange suede. Cut-out at the Midfoot is the famed Swoosh to reveal a translucent ripstop fabrication in a vibrant “Pacific Blue” — a finish that is also applied to the tongue, although not translucent. The heel overlay in leather also matches that vibrant shade of blue, and like the tongue tag, is stamped with black Nike branding. Completing the design is a classic white sole unit, complete with contrast orange stitching.
