Sharpie-Sketched Sneakers ✍🏼
As nice as graffiti can look, shitty scribbles on the desk at school to horrible tags around the train station make it one hell of an ugly thing. That is, until you put it on a sneaker. Nike has just dropped this Premium Air Force 1 Low “Graffiti”, which looks to be inspired by those tags — in this case, faces — that cover cement walls the world over.
Each panel of this pair sports something different, from heavy-duty two-tone denim toe boxes and tongue tags, preventative fencing and “AIR FORCE 1” printed graphics on the mid panels to graffiti-covered wall-like panels at the heel. Vivid blue heel overlays sport a shadowed Nike Air motif, while branding on the profile arrives via a textured translucent Swooshes. The only normality to this release arrives from the lacestay and toe overlays, which come in tumbled black leathers, and the classic sole unit painted in dark cement grey.
Love ’em? Pairs rolled out on Nike.com late last night, so head on over to their official website to secure your pair today for $130.
