Available Now // Air Force 1 Low “Sports Specialties” Comes Clad in Purple Corduroy

Nike will continue its series of retro sportswear-inspired footwear with this new corduroy-clad Air Force 1 Low that’s reminiscent of 90’s outwear and caps.

Set to release alongside a Varsity Jacket-like Nike Dunk High next month, this Air Force 1 arrives in stark contrast to its corduroy-heavy counterpart. Here, the textile is used minimally, but with its rich royal purple coloration, it is incredibly forceful. It’s applied only to the Swoosh and heel overlays, the latter complete with the pack’s running Basketball Merchandise branding. It, like the retro garment tongue tags, ushers in vibrant red for flavor in perfect proportion to its all-white leather upper. A sole unit of purple is tacked on with contrast stitching and completed by white branding paint that draws from the upper.
