It’s now evident that the impending “Chicago Split” Nike Dunk Low is only the tip of the iceberg for a new Nike Sportswear collection, with the sliced-up theme now making its way to several Air Force 1 Low and Dunk releases for early 2023. One of those new to the party is this Nike Air Force 1 Low “UNC Split” which, as the title suggests, dresses in classic Tar Heel hues of white, University Blue, and navy.

Proffering the pack’s split Swoosh, outsole, and brand marks, this effort sees a clean white leather upper, with overlays of heavily tumbled blues forming the bulk. The aforementioned Swooshes are cut between navy and mid-blue, with the outsoles working in opposition. Other details include upper eyelets inspired by the late-80s era (the kids pair pictured rocks a faux glaze, but the adults option will proffer legitimate hardware) and split retro-modern branding at the heel and tongue.
