When one thinks of the ultimate sneaker staple, the Air Force 1has to be close to the top of the list. The classic all-white Uptown silhouette has been used as a blank canvas by the Swoosh design team for years, and will again continue to do so well into 2021 — and we can’t get enough. This latest release is a simple design flex that will keep the thirst alive for the hoards of avid AF1 fans.
At a quick glance, you could be mistaken to think “Ugh just another white AF1” but its simplicity in aesthetics is compensated for the superior execution on delivering a well-built shoe, perfection with years of practice. Arriving in near triple white fashion the upper presents a subtle patriotic theme thanks to the white base accompanied by a blue and red double Swoosh combo. A buttery tumbled leather upper, which screams premium quality, hosts a swoosh that has been incut into the upper as opposed to the more common overlay rendering. At the foundation of the shoe sits a typical all-white rubber sole unit with the only splash of color being the blue “Air” branding at the rear. Completing the look is the simple branding located on the tongue and heel pull.
