Fans of the Air Force 1 are never short of footwear options for Fall, with the Swoosh delivering everything from Flax-clad creations to completely retooled works in conjunction with GORE-TEX. This new Air Force 1 Luxe “Pecan” arrives in much the same vein as the latter, with an overhauled design made for treacherous weather — sans GORE-TEX materials.

There’s a fairly obvious focus on the underfoot, with the sail and gum sole unit resembling something typically seen on wet weather boots. Its rugged, circular traction allows for better grip when the weather is shit, while water-resistant nylon tongues and full leather uppers of Ivory provide some shelter for your feet. Dual-layered Checks are fixed with surplus stitching, with further utilitarian tweaks like boot-inspired laces and eyestays also present. Branding at the tongue, heel, and insole are different from your standard Uptown, too, with lettering, solo Swooshes, and cursive all featuring respectively.
