The Air Force 1 Mid “Berlin” is Next in Nike’s Impending City Pack

Nike’s impend Air Force 1 Mid “City Pack” has just granted a third installment, with this Nike Air Force 1 Mid “Berlin” set to honor the German capital.

The third in a series of releases that nods to famous cities and their street signs, this Berliner edition joins neighboring Paris and London with special efforts for the Air Force 1’s 40th anniversary. And, if you’ve ever been to the old East Germany, you’ll find this dark, drab scheme a fitting one. Ostensibly borrowing tones from old buildings of the East, the pair presents in muted brown leathers and soft black suedes. But it is a city of two stories, with pops of vibrance typically associated with the West are worked into the bright white cracked leather Swoosh and heel overlays, and aqua embroidery at the forefoot which features the city’s phone code (030). Like the others from the pack, this too serves a direct nod to the city’s street signs (pictured below) on both the special dubraes and insole detailing. The pair is also fitted with mesh tongues, bold burgundy leather straps, and bright whites at the Swoosh overlays, tongue tags, and heel panels to complete the design.
