Currently celebrating its 40th birthday bash, Bruce Kilgore’s Air Force 1 has had a fairly solid season, with everything from heavily-modified SP releases to collaborative efforts and a slew of fan-favorite re-releases. There’s been plenty of new offerings, too, with it next, the Nike Air Force 1 Mid “Tokyo 2003,” joining a wider collection that celebrates the city formerly known as Edo.

Remembering the era of premium matierals, the release looks to beautiful white and viotech leather uppers, with exotic reptilian textured overlays, and creamy leather tongues rounding out the upper. The simple blocking is met with tonal branding throughout, while an equally-minimal sail sole unit sits unassumingly underfoot. Premium embossed leather tongue tags rest up top, special TYO/03 motifs branded into the lateral heel, and matching hang tags cap off the premium-built design.
