Nike Air Force 1 Mid “White Canvas” Arrives November 3

As the lesser-loved of the three cuts, Nike’s Air Force 1 Mid is often an afterthought amongst even the most hardcore sneakerheads. But as has been apparent, the brand has arguably put more focus on the model than the High this year, with everything from city-specific colorways to a special-edition release that documents the model’s 40-year timeline. It’s next, the Air Force 1 Mid “White Canvas,” keeps thing classic on the color front, but it brings in a completely new construct — complete with a cameo from the famous Hike Nike Man.
Juxtaposing the classic white leather often found on the upper, this effort looks to an all-over canvas construct, complete with quilted-like stitchwork throughout. This extra threadwork appears to cover a hidden upper, as the heel overlay shows a split between hidden and cover. This same theme is mirrored on the tongue tag. Insoles show a monochrome Hike Nike Man motif to match the simplicity and whimsical nature of the release. All of this then rests atop a solid sail sole unit to complete the design.
