Nike Adds Light Lilac Laces to this Kentucky-Like Air Force 1 Mid
Making a strong comeback this year as part of the silhouette’s 40th-anniversary celebration, the Air Force 1 Mid has been welcomed back to the market with a thrust of interest created by classic retros and collaborations alike. Now it’s time for the GRs to shine, with the design returning in a simple Kentucky-like white and royal colorway for the summer season.
Built in a classic leather construct, the pair looks to traditional two-tone blocking of white unders, and colored overs here in Military Blue. Ankle straps follow the lead of the overlays, whilst nylon tongues, liners, and heel branding link back to the upper’s white. The pair is then completed by royal branding at the tongue, a two-tone sole unit underfoot, and light lilac laces for an atypical twist to a Kentucky-like release.
A release date for this new Air Force 1 Mid is yet to be revealed but with official images now available, one would suggest that a release is happening very soon.
