Despite the silhouette’s 40th anniversary now past the halfway point, there seems to be no slowing down for the run of Air Force 1 releases. The back end of the year is just as loaded as the front, the newest of which has just appeared in the Nike Air Force 1 PLT.AF.FORM — and they’ve dressed in in fur and bling.
Bringing in a decadent 70s aesthetic, the pair ushers in rear stylized logos reminiscent of the era, as well as oft-seen hues from the fashion of the time: brown and green. They have also loaded up on fleece and lace bling which, when used in conjunction with the rear logo and accompanying colors, screams of 1970s excess. Alongside the furry cut-in Checks and laces, the brand has implemented suede heel and tongue overlays, with sail and green leathers fitting out the remainder of the upper. Underfoot? A sail and brown sole unit completes the design.
A release date for this new pastel-popped Nike Air Force 1 PLT.AF.FORM “Fur & Bling” is yet to be revealed, but you should expect to see pairs hit select stores and Nike.com soon.
