The Air Force 1 Utility Closes Out Black History Month
Capping off a colorful month.
2019’s BHM collection from Nike — which included special renditions of the LeBron 16 to the Air Jordan 1 Mid, Why Not Zer0.2 and the Kyrie 5, just to name a few — will go down as one of the most colorful in recent years, with each sneaker in the collection taking on vibrant traditional African prints from nations across the continent.
Capping off the colorful month is Nike Air Force 1 Utility, complete with kente cloth print across the large midfoot straps and heel pull. The print’s pattern adorns the entire upper, too, but in tonal hits across the sneaker’s black base. It’s finished off with gold hits on the strap eyelets, tongue and midsole branding, a classic sail outsole and contrast stitching throughout.
The last BHM release to fall, the Nike Air Force 1 Utility “BHM” hits stores and Nike.com on the 28th, the last day of February. Grab a detailed look via the official image set below while you count down the days to the release.
