Stand up and sneak.
Nike and Lebron are set to continue their “Equality” collection, a movement that encourages breaking down barriers and bringing people and communities together. For LeBron, equality means that no matter your race, no matter your background, no matter who you are, we all have the power to stand up and speak for something.
Let’s just hope that means that we all get an equal opportunity to cop the kicks and spread the message, however unlikely that may be.
Update // Official images have just landed, and from the looks of it, we’ll be getting two different mixed packs. Both packs offering up one black and one white sneaker, almost Yin Yang in nature,. One pack offering a white left and black right sneaker, the other pack a black left and white right sneaker.
This “equal” concept stems from LeBron’s split Equality PE sneakers last season. And now we’re getting our very own version at retail.
Both packs of the Nike LeBron 16 “Equality” will release on January 21st, in a likely randomized release, at select Nike Basketball retailers like Foot Locker for $185.
There’s also a listed white/black and fuschia pair, but that’s still to be sighted. Stay tuned for more.
