Nike is pulling out all the stops for the Air Force 1 for its 40th anniversary, with big-name collaborations at the forefront of the silhouette’s efforts. And while you may be forgiven to think that this Air Force 1 Low “Bow” may have been devised from the mind of Comme des Garçons, it is, in fact, a general release from Nike’s in-house design team.
The overt offering is so extra, with multiple sets of bow-tied laces and a removable oversized satin bow sitting across the midfoot as the pair’s championing feature. But the release is much more than this gimmick, with beautiful satin uppers of pure white alternating between texture and pattern between panels. LEather Swooshes and eyestays provide some familiarity, as to does the unadulterated sole unit underfoot. The pair is then completed by premium leather liners and a spare set of laces.
While an official release date for this double-Swooshed Nike Air Force 1 Low “Bow” has yet to be revealed, the surfacing of product imagery would suggest that a release is on the way. Until more news arrives, grab a very first look at the pair here below, and be sure to keep your eyes glued to our official Twitter account for further updates.
