The Nike Air Griffey Max 1 Appears in Black, Red and Royal Blue

Outside the NBA area, there are few signature sneakers that rival Ken Griffey Jr’s legendary Air Griffey Max 1. The iconic wave-riddled design recently celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2021, with the new year continuing the momentum both on and off the diamond.
The next effort returns to the pavement, and it boasts a patriotic paring of red, white, and blue against its classic black nubuck overlays. Here, an upper of rich red leather hosts said overlays, with classic white midsoles and black rubber outsoles resting underfoot. Accents of blue hit a slew of areas, including the straps, pulls, eyestays, forefoot Swooshes, and midsole detail. Red Air supports and ankle detailing rounds out the design.
