Age is not slowing down the Nike Air Huarache — in fact, it’s seemingly picked up more momentum as it’s gotten older, with the silhouette often the subject of retoolings, repurposings, and redesigns. Its newest overhaul, the Nike Air Huarache Craft, is expected to debut in early 2023, with official Nike.com imagery giving us a very first glance at the pair inspired by Tinker’s original 1992 design.

Though there is a significant overhaul, key traits of Tinker’s OG shine through. You’ll find modernized heel caging, neoprene booties, and sole units paying tribute to the original, whilst organic-shaped overlays (almost Osiris D3 in nature) and ACG-inspired indentations on the sole unit further dive into the retro archives.
